Random internet stuff
Jan. 20th, 2010 11:20 pmFound an interesting German website this evening that featured a lot of quirky designs.

From chairs made out of bullets...

...to a USB tie...

....to a "pocket" knife... the website is worth a visit if you're looking for things of unorthodox design.

-----------------------------
I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised by the rise of the fangirl. Everywhere I look online, it's.. "OMG, -insert actor here- looks so HOT in that suit." There are also tons of artwork and fanfiction related to obsessive fangirl stuff. I mean.. whoa. Where are all the guys? Oh yeah.. they're all playing World of Warcraft or cursing each other out on youtube. But no no, the guys are there in other places too, just that I think fangirls are the dominant group of the internet these days. I can almost swear that blogs and other sites like deviantart are predominantly populated by female fangirls, mostly around 13-22.Or maybe I just end up in places that are filled with them? ^^;;; eheheh...
I guess I was just surprised at coming across a female blogger obsessing about Star Trek. Star Trek was mainly a guy thing before the recent movie came out. Now I even see fanfics about Spock and McCoy having 'yaoi' experiences together. I honestly would have never imagined that before.
