How to Kill a Human Being

I just watched a documentary done by the BBC titled, "How to Kill a Human Being."
Basically, the documentary asks if there really is a humane way for a person to be killed. It looks at modern executionary techniques, such as electrocution and gas chambers. Eventually, Michael, the host of the documentary, learns of the process of hypoxia. Hypoxia deprives the body of oxygen, but not completely. Basically, this process renders the organism in a euphoric state before knocking them unconscious and killing them. Of course! This sounds like the -perfect- way to kill someone in a humane way. But in the end, is it really perfect?... I thought this was an amazing documentary, especially with the conclusion at the end. It leaves off with a note that makes me think.. Can humanity and humane death be equated?
I can't say if I'm for or against the death penatly, but I thought it was interesting to watch this documentary. It uses the scientific method and explores the different ways a person can be executed.
